IT Support Specialist

The candidate must have adequate technical skills to fulfill the daily support needs raised by the business users. He has a strong technical support in terms of hardware such as PC, Desktop, Printer, Mobile devices and software such as Desktop Applications and Operating Systems. The individual has to perform the IT asset management process to ensure the hardware is checked, recorded, assigned, distributed and returned properly.

 

Responsibilities

·         Provide technical support on front-end systems, peripherals, desktop applications, Operation Systems, and handheld devices

·         Provide technical support on hotel guest internet services

·         Validate wire and wireless network connectivity and coverage

·         Perform network patching in Back of House and IT closet rooms

·         Perform regular hardware preventive maintenance and health check

·         Monitor backup status and mange backup media

·         Provide preliminary checking for Heat, Ventilation and Air Condition in Data Center

·         Provide the support to the projects such as gaming table movements / renovations, service counter relocations

·         Deploy IT equipment and devices for projects

·         Ability to work on shift

 

Data Center Operator

The candidate is responsible for the daily data center operations and administrations in terms of environmental monitoring (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning), equipment health checks, access controls, asset management, incident and capacity management.

·         Execute day-to-day operations of the group data centre infrastructure, including administration, operations and support.

·         Assist in the documentation of the daily operations of the data centre

·         Monitor and escalate corresponding data centre operational issues

·         Assist in the organization and inventory of all server hardware and software resources.

·         Monitor and execute the regular backup of all systems, including online and offline backups, offsite storage and backup media.

·         Assist the data center manager to comply with IT governance.

·         Prepare the prerequisites of new system servers rolling into Data Center

·         Provide the cable management in the Data Center and IT closet rooms

·         Ability to work on shift
