華為ICT大賽2022-2023澳門站決賽於11月13日圓滿舉行。經過初賽的多番考核，由澳門理工大學大數據與物聯網碩士學位課程張博亮，計算機學學士學位課程湯向新、周立韜所組成的學生隊伍脫穎而出，勇奪網絡賽道二等奬。

Our annual sports day was held on 29 October in our sports pavilion. Students from undergraduate, master and doctoral programs actively participated in the Sports Day. A variety of games including basketball, badminton, dodgeball and table tennis were all on offer for the students to try during the event. Meanwhile, badminton, basketball, and table tennis were divided into men's and women's groups to determine the top 3 and awarded prizes to them. Being physically active is important to be good learners, so we encourage all our students and instructors to find a sport they enjoy and get moving. Our Sports Day was filled with energy, cheering, and great team spirit.
Seminar on career planning in information security with the support of the Melco Resorts and Entertainment
The Computing programme recently held a seminar about the career planning in information security with the support of the Melco Resorts and Entertainment, Macao. In the seminar, distinguished speakers, Ms. PY Chan, Vice President, Recruitment & Constructions HRP, Mr. Farook OV, Executive Director, Global Security Risk Management, Information Security, and Mr. Carlos Lio, Manager, Information Security (Risk), have introduced about the development of IT in Macao gaming industry, especially in the Cyber security field. Almost a hundred guests attended the seminar, including Associate Professor Lam Chan Tong, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of MPU, computing teachers and students from the Computing Program.
新濠博亞與理工電腦學生 分享資訊安全及職業生涯規劃
為了增強學生對職業規劃及對資訊科技行業的認識，了解行業工作的環境，並為將來的升學、工作及創業方向等作準備，澳門理工大學應用科學學院邀請新濠博亞管理層，於十月十八日在理工為電腦學課程學生舉行資訊安全職業生涯講座，新濠博亞的嘉賓為人力資源部副總裁陳碧玉、資訊安全全球安全風險管理執行董事Farook OV及資訊安全經理Carlos Liu。主講嘉賓與學生分享集團的理念和發展、資訊科技行業職業發展方向及前景，危機處理等經驗，讓學生對職業生涯作出更好的準備，提高競爭能力，及後雙方熱烈討論，互動氣氛濃，學生收獲頗豐。
